Main Post: Kuro Games replaces Wuthering Waves Rover VA (CN) after controversy | ResetEra
Top Comment: So what happened was, from what I can see is, that the voice actress for the female MC of Wuwa in 2024 said she will stream a game where she is the Main character and called MC (mingchao is the chinese name of Wuwa). She streamed another game and people were mad at her for that. But for some...
144hz TN or 165hz VA for fps games?
Main Post:
Which one is better for fps games? (also the VA is cheaper)
Top Comment:
Depends on the specific panel. Lots of VA panels have pretty bad black smearing issues, which can be a dealbreaker for many people.
Look up reviews.
Games like Va-11 Hall-A: A Cyberpunk Bartender Action?

Are there any games like this? Simulation w/ visual novel elements

Coffee Talk is very much cribbing from that, although it is a bit shorter and with a different setting.
VA vs LED for games
Main Post:
I am looking for a 4k, 120+ hz, 43 inch monitor/tv for games with price around 850$. Games like racing sim, maybe AAA, NOT a fps shooters. I have two options by far which is a gigabyte monitor FV43U and a philips tv 43PUS8818. The main question for me is what better for gaming a VA monitor or a LED tv ? Thanks for help.
Top Comment: Welcome! For PC's and general gaming, here are the most frequently recommended taken from reddit posts. List last updated July 2023. Good post here for monitors typically recommended for PS5/Xbox . 24in 1080p 144hz - » LG 24GN650-B - IPS, fast response time, 144hz, HDR10. Best bang for the buck right now, unless the AOC 24G2 is in stock 1440p 144hz » Acer Nitro for budget, LG27GP850-B or Asus VG27AQ for mid range - IPS, Reddit favorite monitors. Contrast is ok. Best combos of performance and value. Ultrawide 1440p 144hz » LG 34GP83-AB - IPS, one of the fav on reddit. If you have extra budget, see Samsung Odyssey G9 to get 140hz and 49in or Alienwaire AW3423DWF for OLED, 175hz 4K For a good list compiled by a redditor, see here for considerations and recommendations » BenQ EX2710U – 4k, 144hz, poor HDR. For better 4k gaming, see GIGABYTE M27U or LG 27GN950-B » Samsung Neo G8 - 32", 240hz, HDMI 2.1. VA & slightly curved. Amazing contrast and good local dimming. Low input lag. Refresh rate makes it great for esports. Just a beast of a monitor. I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Top Comment: It's 2006/2007, I was a teenager that had spent a few years as a QC and encoder for various anime fansub groups. One day, I notice my freely distributed encodes were being used on a paid new streaming service, Crunchyroll. To this day, their asshole management and scumbaggery is still on full display in my eyes. Story after story of greed, pettiness, nepotism, harassment and all around fuckery. Their success is built off the backs of people who do the actual work, whether they are volunteers, voice actors or even some of my colleagues who eventually got nickel and dimed by them when they were hired to translate officially. Terrible company run by awful leadership.

Top Comment: Sad to hear that N1RV Ann-A is put on hold until this game releases. This game looks fun but I kinda preffer to have successor of VA-11 Hall-A but maybe they will convince me to it. Glad that they at least had balls to adress N1RV Ann-A situation and not be completly radio silent about it (although they've been radio silent about it since annoucement in 2018 lol).
Marin M. Miller (Hades 2 VA) - "It's possible you may hear me get recast in a particular game that is very popular. If I am, it was not because I stepped away from the character willingly. :) It's because the employer refused to flip to an interim [contract during the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike]." : Games

What I learned since playing VA lottery online game is that….
Main Post:
- Best time to play is at night
- Bet $1 or more per spin to see better results
- You will most likely get a bonus within 10 spins @ $1 and win up to $30
- The games reset @ 3am
- Only spend what you can afford to lose
- sometimes the slots go dry and won’t payout much of anything after reset and early afternoon
- Lastly.... Come to this site or look on Google for codes before depositing any money on the app
Ok so this is all I got so far. You can add what you learned below too hopefully we can all help each other win more.
Top Comment: The only thing I learned is that wins can get streaky. I will typically give it 5-10 spins before I quit and move on to another game, but will only spin around $10 worth between 2 games before I log out and try again a little bit later.
So looks like voice actors for games are going on strike, and that includes Genshin?
Main Post:
I wonder how this will effect all HoYo games....unless I'm mistaken, it seems like Genshin is included? And it looks like Honkai too.
Top Comment: IMPORTANT: The VA for Anby (ZZZ) and Topaz (HSR) has clarified that Genshin is under Formosa Ocean Post, not Formosa Interactive, which is a different company than the one being struck Source UPDATE: the VA clarifies that both operate in the same building so it would be considered crossing a picket line.
